Awedict Studio

I spent twenty-three years in cinema.

Frames. Lenses. Colour. Silence.
Cinema taught me how light falls on a face.
Sacred art taught me why that face matters.

I kept returning to the images I grew up around. Temple walls. Painted calendars. My grandmother's Puranic stories. At first I was studying form. Then I began noticing presence.

One thought stayed:

The divine arrives where space is made.

The space was made by Priyanka.
My wife. The producer.
She asked me to make art for Sanatan Dharma,
and AWEDICT arrived.

AWEDICT is a fine-art studio devoted to the visual language of Indian sacred art. Devotional tradition, cinematic composition, archival printing, contemporary restraint. We run it the way we run our films: I hold the frame, she holds everything else.

In sacred art, restraint matters.
A line can be enough.
A colour, held correctly, can carry an entire prayer.

These works are made to live with a space over time. To hold a wall gently. To become part of a home's inner life.
